The spicy and fragrant smoke of Cedar is full-bodied and aromatic. Cedar planked salmon is a classic preparation originating from the Pacific Northwest. The fusion between cedar and salmon is truly magic.

Pairings: Salmon, trout, pork chops, poultry, soft cheese such as Camembert & Brie, mushrooms, tofu and vegetables and our all time favourite - Oysters!!

2) Cedar Wraps 18x20cm - 8 pack

Cedar wraps allow for juicy, moist meat without having direct flame on your protein. This package of wraps contains 8 of our 18x20cm Cedar wraps. Wrap grilling infuses smoky flavour into your favorite food while keeping it moist & juicy. Wraps are also great for vegetables, like asparagus, broccolini and carrots. These are great on the BBQ or in the oven.

4) Hand Harvested Smoked Sea Salt - 45g 

Vancouver Island Salt Co. Smoked Sea Salt is a must try!  Use as a finishing salt. Adding a little VISC Smoked Salt to any mild flavoured food, near the end of cooking or right before eating will help get the most flavour out of your Smoked Salt. Product weight : 45g

Suggested Foods: Any white fish, roasted veggies, fresh greens with olive oil, chicken, lean cuts of pork, as a third dipping station for fresh bread (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, smoked salt....yum!)

5) Rub with Love - Salmon Rub - 3.5 oz (99g)

Take your Salmon to another level with Tom Douglas' renowned Salmon Rub, responsible for “the best salmon in Seattle” at Etta’s restaurant, according to Northwest Palate Magazine. The rub is a combination of paprika, thyme, and brown sugar. It can also add sweet smoky flavour to pork or chicken.

About Woodsmoke Gourmet

Woodsmoke Gourmet was originally created in order to introduce Australians to the wonderful world of BBQ plank cooking!

Founder Scott was immediately hooked after discovering “BBQ Cedar Planked Salmon" on a trip to the Pacific North West region of USA and Canada. “I loved the natural simplicity of the preparation, and when I tasted the result I was blown away”.

Upon returning to Australia, he was disappointed to discover that BBQ grilling planks were relatively unknown. This disappointment though, was the motivating factor behind the development of Woodsmoke Gourmet.
